BIO

Edinburgh-based Tiberius have existed as a collective for ten years now, with the previous two EPs and debut album A Peaceful Annihilation receiving strong critical acclaim.

Despite being released on the eve of a COVID lockdown, their debut has been well-received by fans and media alike, and has earned them respectable slots on prestigious lineups throughout the UK and Europe including, but not limited to, RADAR Festival and Euroblast.

In addition, they have supported the likes of The Contortionist, Twelve Foot Ninja, and Galactic Empire, developing strong professional relationships with promoters around the country.

Heading into 2025, Tiberius look to release the eight-track album Singing for Company, which sees them push their boundaries, which tend to straddle elements of prog metal, pop, and metalcore.

The album is carefully and considerately crafted, showing restraint and thoughtfully allowing each song to have its own voice, and hold the right space. As a result, Tiberius’ sound is more mature and more diverse than ever before. Introducing the bagpipes as a nod to their native country, the Scots wield a vast array of instruments on Singing for Company as they continue to evolve their trademark fun, eccentric, yet mature sound for a modern audience.

Featuring grandiose soundscapes, powerful vocals, and lead guitars that shine in all of the right moments, Tiberius have honed their song-writing and in turn their musicianship and identity, meaning Singing for Company is their most confident, coherent, and masterful work yet.

The lyrical content is a juxtaposition to Tiberius’ fun persona, each song tackling important and serious matters such as the perils of corporate culture, and the fear of a capitalist societal collapse. In this way Tiberius forces those issues to the forefront, demanding your attention.
